Ajax, Ontario -- Environmental Waste International Inc. said it has substantially finished installing the TR900 System at the Ellsin Environmental Ltd facility in Sault Ste. Marie. EWS will now begin testing each completed subsystem to ensure that it operates properly. The commissioning process is expected to be complete by the end of May.

The TR900 System is designed to break down 900 used tyres per day into carbon black, oil and steel. The power generation system is designed to use the collected tyre gases as fuel to power the entire facility.
