Lanxess raises prices for rubber chemicals
ERJ staff report (DS)
Leverkusen, Germany -- Lanxess AG is to increase its prices worldwide for rubber chemicals supplied by the Rubber Chemicals business unit effective April 1, 2011. This is primarily in response to steeply rising raw material costs.
The price increase affects almost the entire product range of antioxidants (Vulkanox, Vulkazon), accelerators (Vulkacit) and speciality chemicals (e.g. Renacit, Cohedur, Perkalink, Vulcuren etc.) and will be in the region of 15 - 25 percent depending on the product and region.
