Goodyear raising commercial tyre prices by up to 15 percent in US

Akron, Ohio -- Goodyear is raising the prices of brands of its commercial truck tyres in North America by up to 15 percent, effective April 1.
The company also is increasing price of tread rubber by up to 7 percent.
A company spokesman attributed the price hikes to rising raw material costs and other factors.
Goodyear last raised truck tyre and tread rubber prices May 1, 2010, by up to 8 and 7 percent, respectively
