Schrader adds 100 jobs to fulfil Ford TPMS contract

Antrim, Northern Ireland -- Schrader Electronics has announced details of a contract with Ford Motor Company, under which Schrader Electronics will supply tyre pressure monitoring sensors (TPMS) for fitment to Ford's European model range between 2012 and 2015.
The deal will add up to 100 jobs at Schrader's factory in Northern Ireland. The units will be fitted across Ford's model range in Europe, including two of the UK's most popular passenger vehicles the Ford Fiesta and Ford Focus.
Legislation will make TPMS mandatory on new models launched as of November 2012 and then across all new passenger vehicles built as of November 2014.
