Wealth of new tyres launched at the Geneva Show

Geneva, Switzerland -- tyre companies launched a wide range of tyres at the Geneva Motor Show yesterday, ahead of new European legislation requiring labels to tell consumers about fuel economy, wet grip and noise from October 2012.
Pirelli , which features an F1 car fitted with the exclusive F1 PZero tyres on its stand, also showed a preview of new Snowcontrol Serie 3 winter tyre.
Bridgestone demonstrated a new, high-prerformance runflat, in the Potenza S001 family
Vredestein introduced the Quatrac Lite, a new eco-friendly all-season tyre
Yokohama launched its BluEarth series in Europe, which is claimed todeliver an A-rating in the fuel economy categfory of the EU tyre labelling system.
Conti introduced the ContiEcoContact 5
Goodyear introduced an extremely low rolling resistance version of the award-winning Goodyear EfficientGrip
Michelin and Hankook were not present at the show
