Goodyear India announces results, management appointment

Mumbai, India -- Goodyear India Ltd has appointed Mr. Yashwant Singh Yadav as a full-time Director, to look after corporate affairs and head the HR function of the company, effective November 01, 2010. The baord also accepted the resignation of Jean Philippe Lecerf, previously finance director.

The company also announced unaudited sales up strongly for the three months to 30 June 2010. The company said sales for the period amounted to Rs 3297 million (euro 53 million) from Rs 2755 million a year ago

Operating profit fell, to Rs326 million from Rs425 million a year ago
