Bluestar silicones introduces transparent HCR

Lyon, France -- Bluestar Silicones has launched a highly transparent heat curing rubber (HCR), manufactured at its plant in St Fons near Lyon. The product has beennamed Rhodorsil MF 175 U SP and is available from September 2010. The product will also be available as ready-to-use product through Bluestar's global compounding network called "Mix&Fix Centers".
Bluestar said the product can be used in all rubber transformation processes using calendering, extrusion and injection moulding technologies. It forms part of Bluestar's 100 Series which is the company's front line range of general purpose HCR materials.
