Munich, Germany -- Bavaria Industriekapital AG has completed the acquisition of the Fluid Solutions business operations from Trelleborg Automotive. The business has been re-named TriStone Flowtech.
TriStone Flowtech manufactures components such as hoses for engine-cooling and air-supply solutions and has approximately 1,900 employees and operations in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Turkey, Spain, Italy, France and Germany. TriStone is headquartered in Mannheim and achieved a turnover of approximately EUR 130 million in 2009. The group serves the major European car companies with its locations close to their main manufacturing bases.
As the managing director of TriStone business, Mr. Anders Grahn, explains: â€œWe are very excited to join another respected industrial group as Bavaria and are honored for Bavaria 's belief in us and our future business potential. We are proud of having belonged to Trelleborg Group and owe them our gratitude for supporting our successful revitalisation activities."

Even before a transaction is completed, a best-practices team is set up to devise a concrete action plan. This is then implemented in collaboration with the investee company`s management.
