Fire damages UK rubber reclamation factory

Devon, UK -- A rubber reclamation factory in western Devon in the UK has suffered damage to its rubber silo after a fire broke out on 1 June.
Eight fire crews were dispatched by the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service (DSFRS) to deal with the blaze, at Crumb Rubber UK in Plymouth, said an update from the DSFRS.
The 100m x 75m building suffered severe damage to its rubber silo, the DSFRS said, adding that the incident has been left in the hands of site management.
