IISRP extends affiliate status to distributors, agents
Crain News Service report
Houston, Texas -- Agents and distributors will be given the opportunity to join the International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers (IISRP) as affiliate members, the organisation decided at its meeting in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, last week.
“Three years ago, we took a bit step and the IISRP opened its doors to include affiliates and has proven to be highly successful and an act that offers tremendous value to the membership†said James McGraw, IISRP managing director and ceo. He said the organisation of most of the world's synthetic rubber producers have received repeated requests form requests from distributors to gain the affiliate status.
After a year of discussions with regional boards, the IISRP directors decided during the Dubai meeting to expand the membership category, Mr. McGraw said.
Affiliated members have access to the membership side of the IISRP website, discounts for publication purchases and the opportunity to be associated with the global organisation.
Companies interested in applying for affiliate membership, or seeking more information, can contact Mr. McGraw at 713-783-7511, extension 222; or by email at jlmcgraw@iisrp.com.
