PolymerLatex to increase NBR latex prices
ERJ staff report (R&PN)
MARL, Germany (March 9, 2010)-PolymerLatex GmbH is increasing prices for its nitrile rubber latex products worldwide by $80 per metric ton effective April 1.
The company said the price increase of NBR is necessary to offset the continuous rise in raw material costs for Acrylonitrile.
This hike follows an increase of $150 per metric ton of NBR Feb. 1. Further price increases cannot be ruled out, as butadiene is expected to remain in tight supply globally, PolymerLatex said.
