ECHA stakeholder meeting available online

Helsinki, Finland -- Today over 300 representatives of stakeholder organisations around the world participate in the first Stakeholders´ Day of the European Chemicals Agency. The event takes place at Finlandia Hall in Helsinki. The event is being webcast over a stream, so that anyone can wautch it live, seeing the speakers, their slides and hearing their commentary.

During the morning session, up-to-date information on pre-registration, registration and the forthcoming candidate list of Substances of Very High Concern is presented. ECHA reports the current state of play while industry provides insights in their experiences.

The next Stakeholders´ Day will take place in connection with the Helsinki Chemicals Forum on 27 May 2009.
