Michelin to raise its tyre prices in Europe
ERJ staff report (DS)
Clermont-Ferrand, France -- Michelin will raise prices for its passenger car and light truck and truck and bus tyres from October 1, 2008. The increase amounts to 3 percent - 5% on average and will be implemented in most European countries.
Michelin blamed the increases on higher raw material prices and said it follows price increases in the earthmover and agricultural sectors in July and August respectively.
