Dow-Corning adds HCR-silicone capacity at Wiesbaden

Wiesbaden, Germany -- Dow Corning has expanded its manufacturing site at Wiesbaden, Germany, creating additional capacity for the manufacture of high consistency rubber (HCR) for European customers.
Dow-Corning said the move is in response to growing demand for silicone rubber in Europe and the Middle East, and includes the addition of a number of employees. The site will manufacture High Consistency Rubber (HCR) and Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) for a full spectrum of industrial and consumer applications.
The company did not give any details of capacity, employment or investment numbers.
