Toyo raise prices in US and Canada, effective 1 July
Cypress, California - Toyo Tire U.S.A Corp and Toyo Tire Canada Inc. are to raise passenger, light truck and commercial tyre prices in North America as of 1 July.
With the exception of winter tyres, prices are set to increase by up to 8 percent in the US and up to 6 percent in Canada. Toyo Tire Canada said dealers participating in the 2008 Toyo winter program would be price protected through 31 March 2009.
Steve Weinger, senior vice president, sales and marketing of Toyo Tire U.S.A said, “Toyo continues to do everything in our power to keep increases minimal while still providing a premium product for our valued customer.â€
