Synthos buys IFS enterprise software
ERJ staff report (DS)
Dwory, Poland -- Synthos SA, the Polish rubber company previously known as Dwory SA, has decided to use IFS Applications suite to support all its business processes-from financials and manufacturing to quality management-and efficiently manage its growing operations. The most immediate issues are to streamline business processes in the company and enhance customer service.
Last October, the company signed a licencing deal with Michelin to make neodymium catalysed BR in a new 80 ktpa plant using Michelin technology. The company will supply Michelin with the material for up to seven years after the plant is on stream in 2011.
Synthos will implement components from IFS Applications to manage a range of business processes that include financials, distribution, manufacturing, project management, maintenance, human resources, payroll, customer relationship management, business performance, document management and quality management.
