Fort Lauderdale, Florida -- US rubber recycling company Magnum D'Or Resources, Inc. has said it is in the process of buying, "a substantial equity stake" in Spreelast AG' s cryogenic crumbing facility in Vetchau, Germany
In January of this year, Magnum said it had signed a licensing agreement with Spreelast, in which Magnum will have exclusive right to use present and future patents and trade secrets developed and utilised by Spreelast for the US, Canada and China.
Spreelast says it is a "service supplier in the area of reprocessing elastomer based waste and scrap materials which result from the manufacture of industrial rubber goods and tyres, and from retreading operations." Magnum said the company is, "a world renowned producer of fine cryogenically formed powders. .
Magnum chairman Joseph Glusic said, "with the addition of this facility we will now be able to produce and provide fine rubber powders to clients worldwide. This will also give us the ability to both import and export ultra fine powders (99.9% pure) for distribution to other suppliers and the corresponding plastic components created from the elastomeric alloys we manufacture.
