Dow raises prices on synthetic rubber

Horgen, Switzerland -- Effective 1 April, 2008 or as contract terms allow, Dow Europe GmbH will increase prices for all its synthetic rubber grades in Europe by 150 Europer metric ton.
Dow offers a broad portfolio of styrene rubber (SBR) and polybutadiene rubber (BR) products, including cold polymerised emulsion styrene butadiene rubber, high-cis polybutadiene rubber (BR), low-cis polybutadiene rubber as well as solution styrene butadiene rubber (S-SBR).
The company did not give a reason for the increase.
