Chemtura raises prices on polymer additives for rubber industry

Middlebury, Connecticut -- Chemtura Corp. will increase prices on a range of its polymer additives used primarily in the rubber industry, effective 1 March 2008, or as contracts allow. The increases, ranging between 3 percent to -15 percent, are in response to mounting raw material and waste disposal costs. The products affected are:

8 percent:

- naugawhite liquid

3 percent:

- sunproof waxes
