Akron, Ohio -- Goodyear is taking its â€œTireLogicâ€ magazine for the trucking industry digital.
â€œTireLogic's mission remains the same: to keep truck operators up-to-date on tyre issues, with ideas to lower their cost-per-mile and to manage a cost-effective tyre programme,â€ said Steve McClellan, vice president, commercial tyre systems. â€œA digital magazine is more accessible for fleets and truck operators, so they'll never miss a copy.â€
Making the magazine an interactive digital publication will allow Goodyear to solicit more input from readers, McClellan said, in addition to saving trees.Readers who formally received â€œTireLogicâ€ magazine in the mail will be required to sign up online, McClellan said. Once registered, readers automatically will receive a new issue of â€œTireLogicâ€ by e-mail when it becomes available. The Winter 2007/2008 issue is available online now, Goodyear said, with stories on getting the most tread life out of tyres; answers to many questions that fleets have about their tyre programmes; plus case studies on how leading companies have transformed their tyre programmes.
