Lanxess increases prices for all chemicals by 5 percent
ERJ staff report (SS) Leverkusen, Germany -- The Basic Chemicals business unit of Lanxess AG will increase prices for its entire portfolio of chemicals by 5 percent worldwide, with immediate effect.
The company said in a 2 Jan statement that the increase is due to rising raw material and energy prices as well as logistics costs.
