Cooper appoints new US sales team to focus on key markets
ERJ staff report (SS) Findlay, Ohio -- The Cooper Tire and Rubber Company has added to its US sales team in order to focus on key markets.
Phil Kortokrax has been appointed vice president of dealer channel sales, which is a newly created position, and will be responsible for realigning the sales and marketing team with a channel and market-facing focus.
The company's new director of wholesale channel will be Adam Zickert, who has previously worked as sales and marketing director for Rockford Products Corp., said Cooper, in a 14 Dec statement.
Gary Schroeder, who joined Cooper in 2002 as the global director of cost and reporting, will be the new director of independent and regional retailer channel.
John Kairys will be in charge of advancing the Cooper brand in NA, as he takes up the position of director of national retailer sales.
Finally, Steve Sawyer has been promoted to the position of director, marketing operations, responsible for aligning the pricing, programme, market analysis and customer service areas.
