Report studies Chinese SBR business
Dublin, Ireland - A new report titled "China Styrene Butadiene Rubber Industry Report, 2007 " is available from information broker, research & Markets.
The 73-page report was first published in November 2007 by Research in China. It is available from R&M for around €1300, depending on delivery option.
In the publicity for the report, the publishers say, "Up to the end of 2006, there were seven styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) manufacturers in China, with a total capacity of 597 000 tons/year, which took 12.60 percent of the global total. SBR output at home arrived at 572,000 tons in 2006, up by 14.2 percent year-on-year."
The summary continues, "It is forecasted that domestic demand for SBR will reach 800,000 to 850,000 tons in 2010, in which the demand for emulsion polymerized butadiene styrene rubber ( ESBR) is about 700,000 to 730,000 tons, and for solution polymerized butadiene styrene rubber(SSBR) 100,000 to 120,000 tons. ESBR will still be the main product in SBR consumption."
