Michelin places large extruder order with Berstorff
Düsseldorf, Germany - Michelin and KraussMaffei Berstorff have concluded a significant contract for the supply of high output, high quality extrusion lines for the premium truck tyre segment, said Berstorff in a press statement.
KraussMaffei Berstorff said it will install the ordered extrusion lines for rubber processing in Asia, Europe and America. The choice for extrusion lines made in Hanover was based on Michelin's positive experience with those extrusion lines delivered by KraussMaffei Berstorff during the last 2 years, said Berstorff.
Berstorff added that Tartarstan tyre maker, Nizhnekamskshina has bought extrusion lines worth, " a double digit multi million Euro amount." as part of the NASTP (Nizhnekamsk All Steel Tire Plant) project. The lines will be installed into a new factory for premium all steel radial truck tyres.
