Sealy to build latex plant in 2007
Archdale, North Carolina - Bedding manufacturer Sealy will start construction on a new latex foam factory in Mountaintop, Pennsylvania, in the first quarter of 2007 for use across its product lines.
The company also launched two new 100 percent latex products - the Posturepedic-SpringFree II range and a more up-market Stearns & Foster Tropical Oasis range.
''The speciality bedding segment represents an enormous opportunity to expand our business,'' Sealy chief executive David McIlquham said.
