SICOM launches new website as NR prices remain high
Singapore - Sicom, the Singapore Commodities exchange has launched a new website with a cleaner look and more facilities, including downloadable forms to seek membership or purchase historical data. Meanwhile, Sicom's NR prices rose once more on Thursday, while prices on Tokyo's Tocom exchange fell slightly on Friday.
In Tokyo the benchmark 6-month futures prices closed down one point on Thursday's close, at 313.5 yen/kilo ($2.75) on Thursday,. Futures contracts are currently trading just above 310 ¥/kg (around $2.72).
In Singapore prices moved upwards on Thursday, following the trend in Tokyo. Short-dated RSS3 closed at 276.75 US cents/kg on Thursday, up three cents from Wednesday's close.
