Rapid prototyping material claims to offer rubber-like properties
Rehovot, Israel -- Israeli company US company, Objet Geometries Ltd. has introduced a line of photo-polymer modeling materials with rubber-like properties for its proprietary Eden333 PolyJet(TM) Rapid Prototyping Systems. The material will allow users to create prototypes of flexible end-products, says the maker.
In a statement, the company said, "The new Vero FullCure800 series features opaque colors and improved mechanical properties, while the new Tango resins introduce an elastic model material that feels like final flexible materials. The addition of improved mechanical properties, color and flexibility to Objet's industry leading smooth-surfaced, finely detailed models, enables Objet users to build models that meet an even wider range of fit, form, function and feel†requirements."
The products and technologies are distributed in the US by Stratasys, Inc. of Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
