Ashton Seals buys gasket cutter
Barnsley, UK-Seal and gasket supplier Ashton Seals Ltd has purchased Roseal, a gasket cutting company, to boost its operations in that sector and continue its recent growth.
Ashton Seals will relocate Roseal's production to its 3000-sq.m site in Barnsley from Great Yarmouth, UK.
"This acquisition is a great opportunity for Ashton Seals to strengthen the company's existing gasket cutting operation and provides a powerful growth opportunity as a whole," said Peter Minchin, the firm's managing director. "Ashton's policy of acquisition is one that we are keen to continue and I am convinced that we are building a strong platform for sustainable future growth."
Primarily known as a distributor of O-rings, seals, gaskets and other moulded and extruded parts, Ashton entered the manufacturing arena in 2003 with the purchase of gasket maker Clough (Croydon) Ltd.
