Vietnam set to report record export earnings from rubber
Ha Noi, Vietnam--The Vietnam Rubber Corp expects 2004 export earnings from rubber to reach $300 million and 250 000 tonnes. This level was last achieved 15 years ago.
Vietnam sends most of its rubber to China, but Germany, Russia and Belgium also receive significant quantities. The VNA report (see link below) gives more details of the country's rubber industry.
