Beijing--The China Rubber Industry Association reports continuing strong growth in the domestic rubber manufacturing sector in the nine months to September 2004.
Year-on-year growth is up 28.3 percent by value, while exports were up 43 percent by value compared with a year earlier. In total, the country consumed 1.34 million tonnes of rubber in the first nine months, translating to around 1.8 million tonnes for the year.
