Chinese Auto production shows slower growth
Beijing--China's top 15 car makers reported slower growth in the first eight months of this year than one year ago. Growth was still a very healthy 21 percent, with combined sales revenues for the period reported at Yuan 388 000 million (€38 million). Two companies, First Auto Works, Shanghai Auto, and Dongfeng Auto contributed half of this sales total.
Local press reports indicate growth rates and profits falling among the big car makers in China.
