India alleges China is dumping accelerators
India's anti-dumping authorities have started an investigation into prices of rubber accelerators, including MBT, MBTS, CBS. originating in China. The investigation started after an Indian rubber chemicals supplier, NOCIL, alerted the authorities to possible dumping.
The authorities believe that local Chinese prices are much higher than the sale price in India, and this is prima facie evidence of dumping. The authorities are to begin an investigation of import prices covering the whole of 2003, from 1 Jan to 31 Dec.
