Rapra plans rubber open day April 20th
Rapra Technology ltd has designated 20 April, 2004 as an open day for rubber moulders at its Shrewsbury, UK headquarters. The company intends to show off its latest injection moulding machine from LWB Steinl, a VCE 500/160 unit, capable of moulding both TPE and conventional rubber compounds.
Jenny Cooper, head of Rapra's rubber technology services said Rapra has recently included the outsourcing of small-scale production runs of rubber moulded items. 'We quote a full service to all rubber manufacturers and OEMs, including outsourced quality assurance, materials analysis, development and specification, failure diagnosis, making prototypes and production of rubber goods for niche applications,' she says.
