Kraton hiking SIS adhesive prices
By Patrick Raleigh, ERJ On-line news editor
Houston, Texas-Kraton Polymers is raising its styrene-isoprene block copolymer prices by five cents/pound for adhesives customers in North America, the company has announced.
The increases, which take effect 15 March, reflect sustained market demand and rising feedstock prices, according to Richard Brennan, Kraton's global business manager of adhesives and sealants.
“Demand for these high-performance products has strengthened over the last year while costs for alternative technologies have risen,†Brennan further claimed, in a press statement.
