Natural rubber
NR futures continued to strengthen in the first full trading week of October, across all major exchanges – amid supply concerns. According to Japan Exchange Group (JPX), the bullish trend is likely to persist until El Nino-related weather disruptions eased. During the week, noted JPX, Chinese commodity funds and speculators were estimated to have accumulated around 400kt of futures positions..
