Meicheng Machinery to deliver two 50-tonne-per-day continuous pyrolysis lines to ELT recycler
Zhengzhou, China – Chinese equipment supplier Meicheng Machinery has secured an order for two waste tire pyrolysis lines from an unnamed Polish end-of-life tire recycling company.
The contract, signed in August, covers two fully automated units, each designed to process 50 tonnes per day of waste rubber powder, Meicheng said 3 Sept.
The Polish customer, it said, is expanding its rubber recycling operations and plans to convert waste rubber powder into pyrolysis oil.
According to Meicheng, the customer selected continuous-processing technology after experiencing reliability issues with previously purchased second-hand pyrolysis equipment.
The new lines are claimed to provide continuous feeding and residue discharge and can operate for 30 – 40 days per cycle without shutdown, cooling and reheating.
Meicheng did not disclose the value of the contract.
