Undergoing “complete rebrand be completed by 31 July” following acquisition by Rubix
London – The ERIKS name is set to disappear from the market in the UK & Ireland following its recent acquisition by industrial components distribution major Rubix.
Under the terms of the transaction, "we can't use the ERIKs name beyond the end of this month," confirmed Vince McGurk, CEO Rubix UK, Ireland and Iceland.
“We are currently going through a complete rebrand be completed by 31 July, McGurk said at a First Friday Club gathering of industrial journalists.
And then, in terms of IT, there's a complete break from the ERIKS systems at the end of September, the distribution executive at the Cadence-organised event on 3 July
ERIKS UK & Ireland specialises particularly in flow technology, supplying parts including hoses, valves, sealing and gaskets, as well as associated technical services such as customisation and repair.
Announced the acquisition, Rubix said it was creating a combined industrial MRO business with annual revenues exceeding €850 million.
Rubix claims to be Europe’s largest supplier of industrial maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) products and services.
Rubix Group, majority-owned by Advent International, completed the acquisition of ERIKS UK & Ireland from US private equity firm Lone Star Funds in November 2025.
Lone Star had gained the business as part of its acquisition of the ERIKS Group from SHV Holdings, a Dutch family-owned multinational in May 2024.
