Henrik Elmin named as new CEO, president, recruitment process for 'permanent leader' to start after summer
Malmo, Sweden – Hexpol AB has announced that CEO and president Klas Dahlberg is parting ways with the Swedish group following an agreement with the board of directors
Effective 1 Aug, Henrik Elmin, a current member of the board of Hexpol AB since 2023, will assume the position of CEO and president, Hexpol announced 25 May.
Elmin has held senior leadership roles at Atlas Copco since 2007, most recently as business area president of industrial technique.
He will maintain his position as a member of the board.
Until 1 Aug, CFO Peter Rosen has been appointed as acting CEO and president.
Hexpol said the recruitment process for “a permanent CEO” will commence after the summer.
“Klas Dahlberg has been effective at establishing the strategic direction and financial targets of Hexpol through 2030. These were communicated at the end of 2025,” said Alf Goeransson, chairman of the board of the group. (ERJ report)
Hexpol, said Goeransson, is “now entering a phase where the leadership requires deep experience of coordinated implementation within a decentralised organisation.”
Elmin’s “long career and international experience” will be an important factor in the implementation, Goeransson said.
Dahlberg will remain employed until 1 Aug and “will support in specific tasks under the leadership of the chairman of the board.”
