- EU begins moves to introduce restrictions on use of 6PPD in tires - The European Tyre & Rubber Manufacturers’ Association (ETRMA) is preparing for possible EU restrictions on the use of 6PPD (6-para-phenylene-diamine) antioxidants. (Read more)
- EUDR: European Council and Parliament reach deal on postponement, targeted revision - The European Council and Parliament have reached a provisional agreement on a targeted revision of the EU regulation on deforestation-free products (EUDR) with the aim of simplifying the implementation of the existing rules and postpone their application to allow operators, traders and authorities to prepare adequately.
