Development strategy covers markets for passenger, 4x4, and light truck tires in the region
Brussels – Goodyear is making “significant investments” in product development at Cooper Tires, its predominant second-tier consumer brand in EMEA, the group said 23 Oct.
According to the Goodyear release, from next year Cooper Tires will offer a wide range of passenger, 4x4, and light truck products across all seasonality and consumer vehicle types.
By January, it said, Cooper’s consumer summer range will be fully available in EMEA, followed by the all-season range in the first quarter and a full winter range by mid-2026.
“Cooper Tires is entering a new chapter,” Ben Glesener, senior technology director, product development, consumer EMEA said in the press statement.
With more than 500 SKUs across passenger, 4x4, and light truck segments, the expanded Cooper offering, he continued, “will be both broad and deep,” promised Glesener.
The Discoverer AT3 Sport 2 tire will continue as one of the company’s 4x4 ‘hero’ products, supported by a lineup of 33 SKUs, noted the Goodyear release.
