First in segment claimed to deliver “exceptional traction” and higher load capacity
Tokyo – Bridgestone Corp. has launched the VH-IND, its first agro-industrial tire for telehandlers and backhoe loaders.
Available in Europe from Sept 2025 in size 460/70R24, the tire is designed for use across mixed field and hard surfaces.
According to Bridgestone, the VH-IND tread delivers “12% more pulling force” and “4 points less slip” compared with a competitor brand. The tire also provides “8% quicker stabilisation” under demanding conditions.
Compared to the competitor brand, the design includes an additional body ply for “up to 500kg more capacity” per tire, as well as a 35.4mm tread depth that offers “20% more rubber volume” to extend wear life.
Engineered for "exceptional traction on all surfaces with extra load carrying capacity," the tire was developed in response to the scaling up of European farms and the increase in their operational complexity.
Bridgestone said it used its Enliten technology in the development of the tire to achieve “optimised pressure distribution” and further enhanced durability.
