Sri Lankan tire maker partners with Italy-based Provana Group for field testing of tires
Colombo – Independent testing of GRI farm tires has shown the products to be well within and in some parameters above industry standards, the Sri Lankan tire maker reported.
In partnership with Italy-based agricultural consultancy firm Provana Group, GRI conducted field-testing of its tires to gauge quality, sustainability, and performance, said a company release 29 July.
The tires underwent “extensive testing” for traction, fuel-consumption, slippage, self-cleaning, soil compaction, and rolling circumference in both laboratory and field environments.
The results showed that GRI's tires "exceeded industry benchmarks across multiple parameters,” said GRI – without providing figures or further details about the test results.
