Nordmann expands distribution deal with Ergon International

Consolidates across Baltic States, Benelux, DACH, France, Nordic countries, Serbia, Spain, UK
Hamburg, Germany – Chemicals distributor Nordmann has recently extended its partnership with Ergon International Inc.: consolidating distributing activities across the Baltic States, Benelux, the DACH region, France, the Nordic countries, Serbia, Spain and the UK.
With its headquarters in Jackson, Mississippi and a European subsidiary in Waterloo, Belgium, Ergon is a major supplier of naphthenic process and base oils for technical and industrial applications.
Ergon’s HyPrene and HyGold naphthenic process and base oils are said to combine good solvency and high flash points, along with advantages in terms of colour and UV stability.
The partnership with Ergon will enable us to “offer solutions for so many different types of applications with their naphthenic process and base oils,” said Dr. Marco Pickel, MD Nordmann Switzerland AG.
“Ergon has been certified by EcoVadis and also set itself the goal of reducing the emissions of its refining operations by 25% in the next two years, added Pickel, who is also global sales director composites, construction, industrial solutions at Nordmann.
For Ergon, sales manager base oils & key account manager Thorsten Knipping said the link-up will “allow us to offer customers added value and continue to grow collaboratively in the international distribution of specialties and chemicals.”
“Nordmann’s access to a wide range of markets and industry segments and the in-depth expertise in application technology… will increase our ability to supply customised solutions to the manufacturing and processing industries,” added Knipping.
