Singapore - Lanxess India Private Ltd has joined the International Rubber Study Group (IRSG) as an associate member, according to an IRSG release 7 Dec.
Based in Thane, near Mumbai, and with a sales office in New Delhi, the company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lanxess Deutschland GmbH.
The company has 1,000 employees and operates two production facilities in in Nagda in Madhya Pradesh and Jhagadia in Gujarat, according to IRSG.
Among other products, Lanxess India manufactures solutions for the Rhein Chemie business unit at its facility in Jhagadia.
Rhein Chemie offers products for the rubber industry, including rubber chemicals, specialty chemicals and processing aids.
