Michelin adds steelcord capacity in France

Golbey, France--Michelin has increased output of steelcord from its plant in Golbey, from 75 000 tonnes per year to 80 000 tonnes per year. The expansion includes a new 4000 m² production hall.

The factory in Golbey, in the French Vosges region, near Luxembourg, supplies about 20 percent of Michelin's steelcord requirements. Michelin said the investment was Euro 10 million.
