Lanxess continues growth in first quarter
leverkusen, germany--Lanxess AG has continued to improve its financial position in the first quarter of 2005, and has reported increased sales and profit.
EBITDA pre exceptionals in first quarter of 2005 up 9.7 percent to EUR 181 million (2004: EUR 165 million) / - EBITDA margin reaches 10.5 percent (2004: 10.2 percent) / - Sales up 7.4 percent to EUR 1,729 million (2004: EUR 1,610 million) / - Net income advances to EUR 70 million (2004: EUR 26 million)
