Colmec publishes paper on rubber extrusion

Busto Arsizio, Italy -- Colmec SpA has published a paper on rubber extrusion, outlining the company's capabilities and giving advice on how best to set up and operate an extruder.

The paper examines the history of extruders, describes the main types and talks about new technologies, such as gear-pump extruders, and conical twin extruders before examining factors which affect throughput.
