New general counsel for Trelleborg Group

Trelleborg, Sweden – Charlotta Grähs has been appointed as the new general counsel for the Trelleborg Group from 1 October.
She succeeds Ulf Gradén who is retiring. Like her predecessor, Grähs will be a member of the group management and act as secretary to Trelleborg’s board of directors.
Grähs joins Trelleborg from her position as group general counsel for Dometic Group, a global manufacturer and supplier of leisure products for the caravan, motor home, automotive, truck and marine markets. Grähs has previously worked in a number of other roles, including as a senior corporate counsel for Husqvarna Group, an associate at Mannheimer Swartling Advokatbyrå and as an associate at Hengeler Mueller Rechtsanwälte.

She has an excellent profile to lead the development of Trelleborg’s legal department as well as extensive and solid experience from many of Trelleborg’s profiled areas, including structural changes, acquisitions and corporate governance,” said Peter Nilsson, president and CEO.
The Trelleborg Group has annual sales of about SEK 21 billion (€2.3bn) in over 40 countries. The group comprises five business areas: Trelleborg Coated Systems, Trelleborg Industrial Solutions, Trelleborg Offshore & Construction, Trelleborg Sealing Solutions and Trelleborg Wheel Systems.
In addition, Trelleborg owns 50 percent of TrelleborgVibracoustic, which offers antivibration solutions for light and heavy vehicles, with annual sales of approximately SEK 15 billion in about 20 countries.
