Synthomer unveils new NBR grade in Malaysia

Harlow, UK – Synthomer, the supplier of NBR latex for the dipping industry, will launch its newest grades for protective gloves at the 7th International Rubber Glove Conference & Exhibition (IRGCE) in Kuala Lumpur from 2-4 September.
The latest product, Synthomer 6330, is “designed to provide protective glove manufacturers with low glove weight, excellent tensile strength and elongation. In addition this new grade offers low odour, and superior processability”.
Jason Davies, strategic business unit director for Synthomer´s Health & Protection business said: “We have invested heavily in new technology at our facilities here in Malaysia which enable Synthomer to continue the development of new and innovative products that meet the increasing demands of the glove industry.”
Synthomer will be exhibiting at the conference on stand No. 2 with staff on hand to answer any questions and to talk about the range of products and services designed to meet individual needs. Synthome offers a product portfolio to the dipping industry which includes nitrile latex (NBR), natural rubber latex (NR), chloroprene latex (CR) as well as chemical dispersions.
Dr Thian Hong Ng, head of technical service, will also be presenting a paper at the conference on “Nitrile glove performance: new dimensions in analysis and improvement”.
