ERJ staff report (SS) Osaka, Japan -- Toyo Tire and Rubber Co. Ltd. has announced that it is changing the trade names of its subsidiary and three second-tier subsidiaries in the US.
As of 1 Jan, Toyo Tire International, Inc. will become Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas Inc., Toyo Tire (USA) Corp. will trade under the name Toyo Tire USA Corp., Nitto Tire North America, Inc. will be known as Nitto Tire USA Inc. and Toyo Tire North America, Inc. will change its name to Toyo Tire North America Manufacturing Inc.
Toyo said, in a 26 Dec statement, that through this change it is aiming to bolster the functions of its "umbrella organisation in the US, increasing efficiency in North American operations while also strengthening structures for corporate governance."
